405th AFSB BASOPS Maintenance apprentices bring fresh perspectives, new approaches
December 2, 2021 — Fresh perspectives and new approaches – that’s what the 405th Army Field Support Brigade believes its Base Support Operations Maintenance apprenticeship program brings to the communities it supports – and two apprentices in the program couldn’t agree more. Sabrina Meidenbauer and Nicole Fussi are assigned to BASOPS Maintenance and are currently in the unit’s apprenticeship program. Meidenbauer started in September 2020, and Fussi started in April 2019. ... MORE

He and his team at BASOPS Trans feed 'The Beast' that is outbound transportation. We are currently handling about 14,000 outbound shipments a year so there’s a lot happening and a lot of work to do, he said... MORE

Dragon Ambridge-Adams is the outbound transportation supervisor with Base Support Operations Transportation, 405th Army Field Support Brigade. He said some of the negative press on military household goods moves recently distorts the picture a little. By and far, most military families are receiving very good service here in Europe on the outbound side, and you can see that reflected in their comments and feedback, he said.

November 23, 2021 — Bernard Jaye, the safety officer for Logistics Readiness Center Benelux, 405th Army Field Support Brigade, has been working for the Army for 38 years. Jaye, who is working toward becoming being the first Belgium local national employee to be Safety Certification Level I qualified under the U.S. system, said it’s been a real privilege to be a part of such a big mission protecting Europe...
