Former refugee from Sri Lanka now prosperous employee at LRC Stuttgart, German citizen

Kajendran Vasanthakumar, the plans and operations purchasing agent at Logistics Readiness Center Stuttgart, presents a trophy to Connie Buchwald for being selected as the People’s Choice winner for her luncheon dish at the LRC Stuttgart food fest, Dec. 1. Vasanthakumar came up with the idea for the food fest and presented it his director. He is originally from Sri Lanka but arrived to Germany as a refugee in 2011. A couple of months ago and after working at LRC Stuttgart for about six years, he received his citizenship for Germany.
