  - What We Do
    
    Management of Inbound Shipments (household gods, unaccompanied baggage) in the European Theater of Responsibility, to include” Monitoring arrival and delivery of all International and Inter-Theater shipments Manage requests between commercial transportation partners and DoD customers, approving or adjudicating as necessary Issue Border Clearance documents for international shipments Approve and certify payments for all Inbound and Outbound shipments Ensure that transportation service provides and their agents follow all Government regulation.

  - What We Do
    
    Management of Outbound Shipments (household gods, unaccompanied baggage) in the European Theater of Responsibility, to include” All International (ITGBL) and Line Haul shipments processed with DPS Government contracted shipments to non-temporary storage facilities, or NTS and to countries that are designated as Direct Procurement Method (Direct Procurement Method (DPM) shipments) Shipments moving no more than 80 km, typically directed by garrison commanders (local moves) Shipments to countries designated by USTRANSCOM as One-Time-Only zone, typically in eastern Europe, South-West Asia or Africa (One-Time-Only, or OTO shipments) Storage of personal property in support of Overseas Contingency Operations for military personnel (Deployment Shipments)

    Requests for personal property shipments are submitted though the Personal Property and POV Office at the Installation Transportation Office of your Logistic Readiness Center.

About Us

The Base Support Operations Transportation Division, or BASOPS Trans, with its Consolidated Personal Property Shipping Office, or CPPSO and European Official Travel Branch, or ETB, is a field operating activity under the 405th Army Field Support Brigade. BASOPS Trans provides back office support functions for Personal Property Shipping, Official Travel Services and Quality Control Disciplinary actions for garrison communities in Belgium, Germany, Italy and The Netherlands.

Mission: Provide support for Household Goods shipping, Official Travel services for all garrison communities in Belgium, Germany, Italy and The Netherlands.

Vision: Provide BASOPS Transportation excellence throughout Europe to support the Warrior
