405th AFSB issues APS-2 vehicles, equipment to US-based engineers in Slovakia for DEFENDER-Europe 22

Soldiers from the 62nd Engineer Company sign for and conduct inventories on Army Prepositioned Stocks-2 equipment at the Equipment Configuration and Hand-off Area in Lešt’, Slovakia, May 9. The equipment the engineers signed for was issued to them by the 405th Army Field Support Brigade. Part of the 405th AFSB’s Army Prepositioned Stocks-2 program, this particular set of equipment was transported from Army Field Support Battalion-Benelux’s APS-2 worksite in Eygelshoven, Netherlands, to Slovakia for DEFENDER-Europe 22.

405th AFSB command team visits Lord Mayor of Mannheim

405th AFSB issues float bridge, dozen boats to Fort Hood unit for DEFENDER-Europe 22

Recently the 405th Army Field Support Brigade’s Mannheim and Benelux battalions worked together to prepare, ship and issue an entire bridge system for the 74th Multi-Role Bridge Company, deployed from Fort Hood, Texas, to Poland for DEFENDER-Europe 22. For the first time ever, an entire float ribbon bridge system from the APS-2 worksite in Zutendaal, Belgium, was transported to Poland and issued to a U.S.-based MRBC deployed to Europe for training.
