LRC Wiesbaden director who served 44 years with Army to retire at end of 2021

Logistics Readiness Center Wiesbaden Director Heinz Kaffenberger retires at the end of 2021 with 44 years of service with the Army, more than 14 years of which he served as the director of the 405th Army Field Support Brigade’s LRC Wiesbaden. A farewell luncheon is planned for Kaffenberger and scheduled for Dec. 10 from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Brauhaus Castel in Mainz-Kastel, Germany. Army Sgt. 1st Class Samara Burnett, the 405th Army Field Support Brigade’s operations directorate noncommissioned officer in charge, was selected as the U.S. Army Sustainment Command’s Employee of the Quarter for the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2021.
