LRC Benelux Dutch employee still feels grateful for U.S. liberation of his hometown during WWII

Ton Fiddelers is the resource manager at the 405th Army Field Support Brigade’s Logistics Readiness Center Benelux. The Dutch Ministry of Defense employee will retire in October 2022 with 41 years and 6 days of service with the U.S. Army. 405th AFSB food service excellence program in Europe announces 54th annual Army competition nomination

Recently, the 405th Army Filed Support Brigade announced its nomination for the 54th Annual Philip A. Connelly Military Garrison Award Competition to represent U.S. Army Europe and Africa and compete at Army level. The 405th AFSB nominated the Defender Café Warrior Restaurant, Rhine Ordnance Barracks, Kaiserslautern, Germany, which is part of the 55th Quartermaster Company, 16th Sustainment Brigade, 21st Theater Sustainment Command. LRC Stuttgart TMP supervisor enjoys working with multiple nationalities supporting one mission

Lukas Zenger is the Transportation Motor Pool supervisor at Logistics Readiness Center Stuttgart, 405th Army Field Support Brigade. He manages a fleet of more than 300 government leased TMP vehicles, to include 13 buses, and 25 people. We have Americans. We have people from Africa. We have people from Turkey, Bosnia, Greece and Germany. I enjoy working with all these different people from different backgrounds, different cultures and different experiences. They are all very reliable, they are all very good at what they do, and they all enjoy working for the U.S. Army as part of LRC Stuttgart and the 405th AFSB. (U.S. Army courtesy photo)

Manon Jacobs is assigned to Logistics Readiness Center Benelux, 405th Army Field Support Brigade as a transportation specialist at Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe. She said working in the service industry, your smile is the most important thing. Your smile can make your customer’s day, and I’m always smiling.
