21st TSC command team visits 405th AFSB’s Belgium, Netherlands APS-2 sites

Army Maj. Gen. James Smith, the commanding general of the 21st Theater Sustainment Command, and 21st TSC Command Sgt. Maj. Sean Howard visited two APS-2 sites – one in Belgium and one in the Netherlands – in one day, plus U.S. Army Garrison Benelux Brunssum. During their visit they were briefed by leaders from the 405th Army Field Support Brigade and USAG Benelux.

Dülmen town hall: regionally align APS-2 operations in Europe, pivot to Poland

An Armored Brigade Combat Team’s worth of Army Prepositioned Stock-2 equipment is stored and maintained at the Dülmen APS -2 worksite. Effective Oct. 21, Dülmen will fall under Army Field Support Battalion Germany so that Army Field Support Battalion Mannheim can better focus on its mission to prepare for and transition to Army Field Support Battalion Poland.

Dan Guzman, a U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command Logistics Assistance Representative assigned to the 405th Army Field Support Brigade, assists a Soldier from Headquarters and Headquarters Troop, 2nd Cavalry Regiment with uploading system software updates on the Air and Missile Defense Workstation. Highly trained, LARs are Army civilians serving in motor pools, hangars, maintenance shops and offices around the world.
