LRC Stuttgart’s new chief of supply & services: Army on its 250th a phenomenal organization

Ed Romain is the new chief of supply and services at Logistics Readiness Center Stuttgart. He said his team of two dozen Army civilians and host nation employees work at the Central Issue Facility, Installation Property Book Office and the LRC’s Food Service Program. “We support our nation, we support our warfighters, and we support our family members. 405th AFSB sends appreciation, respect, love to spouses on Military Spouse Appreciation Day

Daniel Paetzold is a logistics management specialist at Army Field Support Battalion-Germany. He’s worked for the U.S. Army as a German host nation employee for 20 years. And his brother, father and grandfather also worked for the Army. “If you count the entire time my family has been working for the Army – starting with my grandpa with almost a quarter century of Army service – it’s over 80 years, total. 405th AFSB transportation manager to retire with 30 years on Army’s 250th birthday year

Tyler Nemchick is the transportation program manager at the 405th Army Field Support Brigade’s Support Operations Directorate. He’s starting administrative leave this month and retiring later this year with almost 30 years of service as an Army civilian employee. He said he gets emotional just thinking about it. “The Army has been the best part of my life. Great leaders, great people and great missions. Retiring on the very year the Army celebrates its 250th birthday is really special. Happy 250th birthday, U.S. Army!” he said.
