The 405th Army Field Support Brigade’s Army Oil Analysis Program (AOAP) laboratory in Kaiserslautern, Germany, officially shuttered its doors in accordance with an Army directive to cease operations due to funding. Consequently, all Army units in Europe will no longer be required to submit oil samples to the 405th AFSB’s AOAP lab but should submit special samples to the AOAP lab at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama. Pictured here, a physical science technician at AOAP Kaiserslautern tests oil samples in 2017. (File photo by then Staff Sgt. Alexander Burnett)
