KAISERSLAUTERN, Germany –
The 405th AFSB headquarters celebrated Army Heritage Month and 246 years of U.S. Army excellence at NCO Field on Daenner Kaserne in Kaiserslautern, Germany, June 11. The brigade commander, Col. Brad Bane, and one of operations noncommissioned officers, Staff Sgt. James Braxton, cut the ceremonial cake.
A special barbeque meal was prepared for all the Soldiers, Army civilians, local national employees and their families who attended, and everyone seemed to really enjoy the food and the event.
The brigade's victim advocate, Laiza Sboron, set up a SHARP display, and the 405th AFSB's newly appointed Equal Opportunity leader, Sgt. 1st Class Georgie Rodriguez, was officially recognized and welcomed. Rodriguez was also responsible for organizing the event, which was successful and highly appreciated by all.
Donna Strickland, the Equal Employment Opportunity program officer for U.S. Army Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz was also recognized at the event.
