405th AFSB conducts ROC drill in preparation for DEFENDER-Europe 21 exercise

— The 405th Army Field Support Brigade conducted a Rehearsal of Concept Drill Feb. 19 in preparation for the U.S. Army Europe and Africa led DEFENDER-Europe 21 exercise scheduled for this spring. — On a recent visit to Cooperative Security Location Accra in Ghana, Africa, U.S. Africa Command Commander Gen. Stephen J. Townsend received a CSL introduction and capabilities overview from James Wilkerson, a strategic planner and operations contactor with the 405th Army Field Support Brigade's Logistics Civil Augmentation Program-Africa, and Mark Rooney, a performance contractor with the 405th AFSB's LOGCAP-Africa. AFSBn-Benelux, Dutch army maintainers work together at APS-2 Eygelshoven in preparation for DEFENDER-Europe 21

— The 405th Army Field Support Brigade’s Army Field Support Battalion-Benelux recently joined forces with the Netherlands Ministry of Defense’s 11th Air Mobile Brigade (Air Assault) to prepare and make ready dozens of vehicles and equipment pieces scheduled to be deployed, issued and utilized by U.S.-based Army forces during the upcoming DEFENDER-Europe 21 exercise in the Baltics.
