Originally from Turkey – LRC Stuttgart lead bus driver grateful to the Army, life in Germany

Sueleyman Elbasi greets the commander of the 405th Army Field Support Brigade, Col. Crystal Hills, at Logistics Readiness Center Stuttgart’s duty bus motor pool during her site visit, Dec. 1. Elbasi has been the lead bus driver for about 10 years. He arrived in Germany in 1979 at the age of 12. Originally from Kayseri, Turkey, Elbasi has now worked for the U.S. Army for nearly 20 years, is a German citizen and has a family of his own.

After multiple tours in Italy, transportation officer now enjoying new scenery, duties in Benelux

Victoria Letrien is the traffic management specialist and installation transportation officer at Brunssum, Netherlands. She is assigned to Logistics Readiness Center Benelux, 405th Army Field Support Brigade. Letrien said she did multiple tours in Italy prior and was looking to explore more of Europe so she accepted the job at LRC Benelux, which included a promotion, and started working there in April, last year.
